Each Digital Register has an Analytics page with charts built from the answers people submit. Choose a date range and, if you have permission, rearrange the charts and save the layout for that Register.
Before you start
- Select your location in the Vizmo portal. Digital Registers must be turned on, and the Register must be enabled.
- You need permission to view Registers and their entries to open Analytics. You need permission to update Registers to change and save the layout.
- The charts need submitted entries in the date range you choose. The Edit button appears only when there is data to show.
- Availability: if this option is greyed out or missing, contact your Vizmo account manager.
Open and filter Analytics
- Open Digital Registers, expand the Register's name and select Analytics. Analytics opens on Today.
- In the date filter, choose Today, This Week, Last Week, This Month or Last Month.
- For another period, choose Custom, open the date picker, select the dates and select Ok. A custom range can cover up to 31 days, including both end dates. You cannot pick future dates.
- Look through the charts. Each question title includes the form name, so you can tell answers from different forms apart.

Customize the chart layout
- Choose the date range first, then select Edit.
- On each chart, use the chart-type menu to change how its answers are shown. The options depend on the type of question. Use the hide control on a chart to remove it from the dashboard. Drag a chart to move it.
- Select Save to store the layout for this Register. The message Dashboard layout saved successfully appears and the page returns to viewing mode.
- To leave without saving, select Cancel.

- The date filter is hidden while you edit. Change the date range after you leave edit mode.
- The layout belongs to the Register, so everyone who opens its Analytics sees it. It does not change any submitted answers.
Limits of the charts
- If a banner says that Analytics use the most recent entries and more entries match the date range, the charts show only the latest entries. Choose a shorter date range until the banner disappears.
- If you edited a form's questions after people submitted it, old and new answers may appear as separate charts.
Troubleshooting
- Analytics is missing. Check that the Register is enabled and that you can view Register entries.
- Edit is missing. Check that the date range has data and that you can update Registers.
- "Analytics can include a maximum of 31 days". Choose a shorter custom range.
- "Currently, this form has no active analytics". Choose a date range that has submissions and check that the Register has a form. If the page is still empty, contact support@vizmo.in with the Register name and the dates.
- "Please edit the dashboard layout before saving". Change the layout before you select Save.
- "Failed to save dashboard layout". Read the error shown and check that you can update Registers. Try again, and confirm the success message before you rely on the layout.
