Slack is a messaging app for business that connects people to the information that they need. By bringing people together to work as one unified team, Slack transforms the way that organisations communicate.

The integration with Slack makes it easy for users of Vizmo. A notification is triggered after the following actions:

1. A visitor has arrived at the facility
2. Notification allows the host/user to approve the visitor

Slack makes it convenient for hosts/users to undertake actions without accessing the dashboard.

How does this app work?

Vizmo will send a Slack message to your employees every time a visitor arrives and give the benefit to accept or reject that visitor from within Slack.

Enabling Slack

  1. Go to the Vizmo web portal using: https://portal.vizmo.in
  2. Select the Location where you want to add the Workspace
  3. You will now be able to see the Location view page
  4. Click on Integrations in the left drawer
  5. Select the Slack Integration option
  6. Click on Add
  7. You will see all the Slack Integration page
  8. Click on Add
  9. You will be redirected to give permission to access the Slack workspace
  10. Click Allow
  11. ​The Slack integration will be visible in integrations after successful completion

You can also disable the integration as per your requirements.
