WEBHOOKS

WEBHOOKS

With webhooks you can get notifications when certain events happen on the Vizmo server. You do not need to poll the API anymore to see if these events have happened. You can just ‘subscribe’ to an event with webhooks. Webhooks allow you to build or set up integrations, such as Slack or OAuth Apps, which subscribe to chosen events on Vizmo. When one of those events is triggered, a HTTP POST payload is sent to the webhooks configured URL. Once subscribed, the webhook will be triggered every time a subscribed event occurs.

How does the Webhooks work?

  1. Webhooks are disabled for all locations by default. They can be enabled explicitly for a desired location.
  2. Vizmo has 4 events pertaining to Visitors:
    1. Accept-Reject
    2. Checkin
    3. Checkout
    4. Overstay
Webhook is available for all the subscription plans, it can be setup by either Location-Admin or Admin.

How to configure Webhooks?

  1. Login to Dashboard > User > Developer

  1. Select WEBHOOKS tab at the top.
  2. Enter the endpoint url
