Export employee attendance (check-in and check-out) records from the Vizmo portal as a CSV or Excel file.
Before you start
- Your role must be able to view Employee Logs and create exports. If you do not see the Export button, ask an admin to review your role's permissions.
- Availability: if this option is greyed out or missing, contact your Vizmo account manager.
- Select a location first. Vizmo Engage is not shown in Company View.
Export the logs
- Sign in to the Vizmo portal and select the location.
- Open Vizmo Engage > Employee Logs.
- Click Export. The Export Employee Log drawer opens.

- Set Start Date and End Date (DD/MM/YYYY). You cannot select future dates, and the range can be at most 31 days, counting both the start and end day.
- Under Select Fields, keep All Fields or choose specific fields. The fields are Employee Name, Employee Email, Check-in, Check-out, Total Attendance Duration, Designation and Department.
- Optional: under Select Recipient(s), add other people. You and any recipients you select receive the exported file.
- Under Select Export File Format, choose CSV (the default) or Excel.
- Click Export at the top of the drawer.
Result: you see "Employee Logs export created successfully, please check the Import/Export page for progress."
Download the file
- Open Import/Export from the left menu.
- Open the Exports tab and find your export. The Status column shows its progress.
- When it is complete, click Download.

Use Delete on that row to remove an export you no longer need. If an export fails, an error icon shows on its row.
Things to know
- The export uses only the start date, end date and fields you choose in the drawer. Any date, search or column filter you applied on the Employee Logs table is not carried into the export.
- Check-out is blank for employees who have not checked out yet. Total Attendance Duration needs a recorded check-out.
Troubleshooting
- "Please select both the start and end date": fill in both date fields.
- "The end date must be on or after the start date.": correct the range.
- "Employee Logs can be exported for a maximum of 31 days.": shorten the range to 31 days or fewer and export in several parts.
