View visitor analytics

View visitor analytics

The Visitor dashboard in Analytics shows how many people visited, when they came, who hosted them and which visitor types were most common.

Before you start

  • Your role needs Analytics access. If Analytics or Visitor is missing from the left menu, ask your company admin to check your role.

Open the Visitor dashboard

  1. Sign in to the Vizmo portal. Stay in Company View for all locations, or select a location.
  2. Select Analytics in the left menu.
  3. Select Visitor.
  4. Set the Date range filter to the period you want.
  5. Scroll through the charts. Select Refresh if the data looks out of date.

The dashboard shows the standard visitor charts for the date range, for your company or for the selected location.

Charts on the Visitor dashboard

  • Total visitors
  • Visitors by day
  • Employees with most visitors
  • Most common visitor types
  • Visitors by host department
  • Visitors by host designation

The invite charts sit further down the same dashboard. See View invite analytics. If your company uses custom dashboards, the charts you see may differ.

Need individual records or today's live counts?

Analytics shows summary charts. For individual records, open Visitors > Visitor Log. For today's numbers, such as Active Visitors and Overstay Visitors, use the dashboard described in About the Dashboard. To email an Analytics dashboard as a PDF, see View and track analytics.

Troubleshooting

  • I cannot find Analytics or Visitor in the menu: Analytics must be turned on for your company, your role needs Analytics access, and the dashboard must be set up. Ask your company admin to check your role.
  • The charts are empty: widen the Date range, and check that you are in the right location or in Company View.
  • I see "Analytics is temporarily unavailable. Please try again.": select Refresh, or try again after a short while.
