Use this article when you cannot sign in to Vizmo. Find the message you see in the table, then follow the steps in that section. The steps apply to the Vizmo portal and, for password problems, to Vizmo Pass.

| Your account is locked due to multiple failed login attempts. Please try again after 5 minute(s) | Account locked |

Vizmo locks an account for 5 minutes after 5 wrong passwords in a row. The message is Your account is locked due to multiple failed login attempts. Please try again after 5 minute(s).
Note: there is no button for an admin to unlock an account. The lock ends by itself after 5 minutes, or when you reset your password.
A Vizmo password must:
The sign-in page and Vizmo Pass check these rules before they send your password. If an old, simple password is rejected with the message about 8 characters, 1 lowercase letter, 1 uppercase letter and 1 digit, the sign-in page will not send it. Reset the password instead.
| Message | What to do |
|---|---|
| No user found | Vizmo has no account for that email address. Check the spelling, or ask your admin to add you as an employee. |
| Password can not be changed for provided email | That address is not an employee account, so you cannot reset it here. Ask your admin. |
| Invalid OTP | The code is wrong. Re-enter it from the latest email. |
| OTP has expired | The code is older than 30 minutes. Request a new one. |
| OTP has already been used | Each code works once. Request a new one. |
| Invalid password reset request | The 5 minutes to set a password ran out. Start the reset again. |
For the standard steps, see Reset your Vizmo portal password. To change a password you know, see Change your password.
If your account uses two-factor authentication (2FA), Vizmo asks for a code after your password. The page says Enter your OTP.
For setting 2FA up, turning it off and using recovery codes, see Set up and recover two-factor authentication (2FA).
Availability: if the SSO sign-in option is greyed out or missing, contact your Vizmo account manager.
If your company uses SSO, enter your work email address and select Next. Vizmo then shows a Login With button for your company's sign-in, or takes you straight to it. See Sign in to Vizmo with SSO.
When SSO fails you return to the Vizmo sign-in page with a red message that starts with Login failed. It can include technical text in curly brackets. Read the sentence after the word message.
| Message | What it means and what to do |
|---|---|
| You are not a registered user. Please sign up to use Vizmo. | Vizmo has no account for that email address. Ask your admin to add your work email address as an employee. |
| Your Account has been disabled. Please contact the admin | Your Vizmo account is switched off. Ask your admin to enable it. |
| User with email … not found | Your company's sign-in sent an email address that does not match your Vizmo account. Ask your admin to compare the address in both places. |
| SAML SSO authentication failed, no email returned | Your company's sign-in did not send an email address. An admin needs to check the SSO set-up with your identity provider. |
| SAML SSO integration instance not found, or SSO integration is disabled | SSO has been switched off or removed for this location. Ask your admin. |
| Authentication failed, followed by a reason | Your company's sign-in refused the request. Send the reason to your admin. |
| Multiple users found with same email. Please contact support. | Two Vizmo accounts share the address. Contact Vizmo support. |
If no SSO button appears, check that you typed your work email address. An account that uses only SSO has no Vizmo password, so there is nothing to reset. Admins can set up SSO by following Set up SAML single sign-on (SSO).
Vizmo shows Your account has been disabled when an admin has switched your account off. Existing sessions end when the account is disabled. Ask an admin to enable it again. Admins can follow Enable or disable an employee account.
Contact Vizmo support with your email address, the time you tried, the exact message and whether you use a password or SSO. Do not include your password or any codes.
